The Easter Impact! Two.

 The rolling Stone?

The grave could not hold Jesus the Son of God and as He promised He would be raised on the third day from the grave, those who followed Him came to the garden and saw that mighty stone had been rolled away!

Matthew/Levi 28:2,  Mark 15:46, 16:4. Luke 24:2, John 20:1.

The question to be asked is do we too have a stone that covers our hearts, when it comes to God and Jesus?

A stone that can only really be moved by God, if would but turn to Him and believe we would be a New person and He would give to us a New Heart and a New Life?

Ezekiel 11:19,  36:26.

A New kind of People. One.

Not what we Where?

It can be hard for many who believe and then go to fellowship, only to find people still gossipping as they were in the world?

James (Ya'akov=Jacob) warns believers that we cannot carry on now like we were before, salt and fresh water cannot come from the same spring! There are a few other illustrations that one could search for this week and have a bit of bible study, that relate to we cannot be hot and cold?

If we claim faith in Jesus, we must walk in His ways and no longer in the ways of this world!

James 3:5-9,  Matthew/Levi 6:24,  Luke 16:13.

Preparing for Christmas.

Care and Concern.

Christmas is perhaps the biggest holiday season in the world, it comes but once a year and lasts for about one month. This depends on which tradition you belong to, but most of this season today is more about things than the central message.

Jesus came into our world by two miracles, one He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus was not born in a palace as the wise men or Magi thought, searching for the New Born King. Jesus was born in a dirty stable and laid in an animal feeder.

There is a big difference between being a traditional Christian and a Born-Again or Converted believer. We may be preparing our food, drinks and presents, and everything else such as presents, decorations and the tree.

But Jesus warns us that we need always to be looking out for others, who are in need!

Matthew 25:35-46,  Hebrews 6:10-12,  13:2,  James 1:27,  2:14-16.
