Irma and 9/11.

Today is the 16th Anniversary of 9/11!

Meanwhile as one disaster is remembered another is ending hopefully with the monster storm Hurricane Irma, which has killed well over 50 people so far across the Caribbean and Florida?

Irma has been bad, but it has ben nothing like this eventful day in New York 16-years ago, which left over three thousand people dead, when two commercial airlines where hijacked and crashed into the twin towers!

Many people will ask why, why do these things happen? Some are the results of bad foreign policy and broken promises, while other could be blamed on the continued ignorance of burning fossil fuels that are messing up our weather?

These things are bad, but what is even worse is not knowing God and Jesus of Christmas came to set all free from the darkness!

Will it happen?

For a moment we thought that it would, but words and statements have been backtracked upon? N-Korea and bad relations with Russia, while the floods in both Texas and Louisiana will cover this political disaster for a time the problem does remain?

Now that two police officers have been suspended for claiming they only kill blacks and that they cannot cope with people explaining something one knows that America is still a bad place?

We can claim to be something on the outside, like the Pharisees in Jesus days, when they were truly rotten within?

Resistance.

The world today is full of feelings and people are ending up in disaster because of them!

People say do this and live like that, but God of the bible says, 'Resist the Devil and he will flee from you.'

God offers to us who are down in the dumps a way out, one that is worth taking.
