New Year.

'Whats in store for You?'

Believers will be blessed, wither they deserve it or not! Because that is the way with God, he always wants to give us new things and lead us in the best ways and directions for our lives.

Perhaps this year you will give up your excuses and finally give in to following Him?

What ever you do, the history of the world will continue as it has, there will be great events and there will also be more disasters and wars, terrorism etc.

1 Kings 9:4,  Psalm 34:4-9,  101:2,  Joel 2;32,  Acts 7:50-60,  Romans 10:12-15.

CHRISTMAS. Part-Four

VIRGIN BIRTH.

Still today many people cannot believe in this miracle of God, they make all sorts of excuses for it based on what is in their own hearts.

But it did happen as the bible tells us so, we do need to have faith to believe it?

When we have faith in the death, resurrection of Jesus for our failures then nothing is limited to us.

The world promises so much, but it hardly ever delivers even a little!

Luke 1:26-38,  Matthew 1:20-21,  2:13-22.   John 12:46-48.

Monday 14 December 2015

CHRISTMAS. Part-Three.

Three Kings.

Wise men or the Magi, set out from Babylonia and followed the long awaited bright star. It took them one year to get to Jerusalem and they headed for the palace to seek the King of Israel.

There they met the mad, paranoid king Herod who was bemused of their arrival. But he had a hidden agenda as so many do!

The Magi eventually found Jesus and presented Him their gifts. But on leaving an angel told them to go a different way. Thus when Herod found out, he felt mocked. But his intentions was not to honour Jesus, rather to start a genocide, in which every male child up to two years old was murdered.

Matthew 2:1-11,  2:15-18, Genesis 35:16-20,  Jeremiah 31:15.

Monday 7 December 2015

CHRISTMAS. Part-Two.

Undesirables.

Yes you heard correctly! The shepherds were the men that god chose to go see this promised Messiah to Israel and the Saviour of the world. Luke 2:8-18.

They both shared a common ancestor and profession, King David started off in humble circumstances too. 1 Samuel 17:20, 28, 34-35.

Jesus would later say, 'That he was the shepherd and all of us who follow Him, His sheep.' John 10:11.

The question that I am asking you this Speacial Season is can you answer back and say. Psalm 23:1-2.

Monday 30 November 2015

CHRISTMAS. Part-One.

A Star.

There are two things when people think about a star, its a celeb or one that is seen in the night sky?

God chose a disturbed man to make the most amazing and prolific statement in the Bible about a certain star that was to rise over Jacob.

That same star was followed by the Magi to find the baby Jesus and that same star today is still shinning in the hearts of millions who believe and live in Him daily.

So my friend let me ask you, 'Where is that Star with you this season?

Numbers 24:17, Isaiah 16;5, Daniel 7:14, 27, Matthew 2:1-11.

Monday 23 November 2015

Preparing for Christmas.

Care and Concern.

Christmas is perhaps the biggest holiday season in the world, it comes but once a year and lasts for about one month. This depends on which tradition you belong to, but most of this season today is more about things than the central message.

Jesus came into our world by two miracles, one He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus was not born in a palace as the wise men or Magi thought, searching for the New Born King. Jesus was born in a dirty stable and laid in an animal feeder.

There is a big difference between being a traditional Christian and a Born-Again or Converted believer. We may be preparing our food, drinks and presents, and everything else such as presents, decorations and the tree.

But Jesus warns us that we need always to be looking out for others, who are in need!

Matthew 25:35-46,  Hebrews 6:10-12,  13:2,  James 1:27,  2:14-16.

Monday 16 November 2015

New Enemies. Part-Two.

Urban Terrorism.

Paris Friday 13th November will remain in the memory of 500 people who have lost loved ones or who have relatives and friends injured. Child soldiers and Urban terrorism was deployed on the streets of France for the second time this year.

It has been 45 years since we last saw homegrown urban terrorists operating on European streets and these new ones will take full advantage of the media, Internet to spread their message.

Fifty years ago one could draw any cartoon strip one liked in the western world, without fear of it being seen and offended by the masses. it was only wealthy people who had access to foreign newspapers. But today the world will see it quicker through the cameras on our mobile cell phones, than even the Net.

Evil may hide in the darkness, plan and work at its hurts, but the light of God will always reveal the truth of actions and the condition of the mind and soul!

Isaiah 40:27-31,  Romans 1:20-21,  Philippians 4:13,  James 4:17.

Monday 9 November 2015

PEACEMAKERS....

Think you have what it Takes?

There are many people today who are called negotiators and some of them do a good job, for the police and security agencies across our globe. They have a mental profile training that allows them to use subtle words to cause doubt and relive tension in those who out of desperation want to hurt.

The bible tells us that it is only believers in Jesus, who are the real Peacemakers! Believers have faith in God and we have the promised Holy Spirit that gives us New Life. This same Spirit of God gives us access to help others, believers and non believers.

It takes courage to go into a difficult situation, to be accused by all sides of interfering when that could be what will save the day?

Matthew 5:9-12,  44-45,  Luke 6:35-36,  Romans 8:14-15.

Monday 2 November 2015

New Enemies. Part-One.

Threats.

The world is much different today than it was forty years ago! We live today in the fast lane of media and technoloy and internet, our world family is now smaller and closer than ever before.

So we face new kinds of threats from these technologies that we cannot no longer avoid, two or three kids in their bedrooms have hacked into a bank accounts and published them.

Hackers accessed Madison and exposed peoples dirty little secrets, behind their spouces backs. Everyday we hear of new things, it is now belived that even aircraft on autopilot are not safe from hackers.

But our God he sees everything and he will face off our enemies.

Deuteronomy 7:10,  Ezekiel 1:10,  22:8-12,   Matthew 15:19,  Galatians 5:19-21,  2 Peter 3:9-10.

Monday 26 October 2015

Wicked. Part-Two.

A New Way.

Traditionally we associate wickedness with witchcraft and Voodoo or similar beliefs, but today we face new names in our plural world for the same evils.

Humanism, Rational explanations and secular thinking are these three new ways that turn our minds away from believing in God.

They set the agenda for equality that includes sexuality which opposes Gods will, doubts at to did God really say that and that science has the answers to explain way all the awesome events and miracles in the bible!

Genesis 3:1-3,  Psalm 73:11-13,  Hosea 7:2-3,  John 3:15-18,  Romans 3:23,  6;23,   Ephesians 2:1-4.

Monday 19 October 2015

'Wicked. Part-One.

Devil, Evil and Satan.

Lots of people say that they don't believe in God, but they also think the Devil is another Christian myth. Yet many have chosen to follow the way of wickedness, because it gives them money, sex and power.

Matthew 4:10,  Ephesians 6:11,  Revelation 12:9.

They are surrounded by wealth, but they are really in poverty and some know it but they dont know how to get out of the cycle of being trapped.

Jesus said, 'I Am the Light of the world.  John 8:12,  12:46.

This is the first step to getting free for good.

Monday 12 October 2015

Hypocrisy. Part-Two.

The Good Samaritan.

We can all fall into the same trap, the trap of religion and when we do our pride makes us not get involved with the suffering we don't want to see.

A man was heading down to Jericho from the capital Jerusalem, it could be any city and he got robbed, mugged. Rich men, priests and others passed by, they saw his predicament but they refused to help. They showed their hypocrisy, racism by their refusal to do what was right.

A foreigner, an outsider saw, stopped and helped this man and he did it out of his own pocket.

Luke 10:30-36.

Monday 5 October 2015

Hypocrisy. Part-One.

Woe is...

There is one thing that God does not like in us humans, especially those who claim to be religious, but are far away as the lost from Salvation and that is their hypocrisy.

We see it today in the American style TV ministries and also in the political run up elections, but it is actually the same world-wide.

Jesus told the religious men of His day that they were practising different things from what they preached. In fact in Jesus ministry He pointed out to them many of their misconceptions and failures to even understand the the Holy scriptures that they claimed to know, since they were educated.

Luke 11:42-52,  Matthew 23:2-4.

Monday 28 September 2015

'Second Class. Part-Two.

Delivered, Rescued, Redeemed.

The pressure, the oppression it cannot last for ever, but sometimes it seems too? Many people have gone through the mill of life and they have been delivered by God, God chose us not because we were good.

But because we saw what we were and called out to Him and He heard us and changed us, because he sees us not as we are, but as what he has for us.

So if you think you are a second class whatever, trust Him now and get delivered to destination Heaven.

Psalm 119:122,  134,  Luke 1:74-75,  Acts 9:31.

'Second Class. Part-One.

Criminal Records.

Wither you have one, or are just know for getting in trouble with the police, it kind of sticks to you like a bad smell. Later on in life, despite so many laws that are supposed to protect us, that past drags on behind us and many people who know it keep us down.

Being second class in this world and trying to keep to the straight and narrow is harder than being a criminal. But faith in Jesus is harder, because you show up the hypocrisy in the so called 'Good Living peoples.

Matthew 23:13-29,  Luke 6:24-26.

Monday 14 September 2015

Excuses for... Part-Two.

Choosing Light or Darkness.

Humanity has been given free will by God for us to choose our own destiny in life, wither we do bad and evil? Live in the darkness of denial and ignorance or we choose to believe and follow Jesus?

Doing what is right, fair and honest in His light, not pleasing people, not doing good deeds so we get the praise of the world. But rather serving Jesus and doing what is right, looking for no return or thanks but pressing on for our crown in Heaven.

John 12:35-36,  Proverbs 4:19,  Hebrews 3:7-8.

Monday 7 September 2015

STAMINA. Part-Three.

Forgiven and Re-assured.

You have to be mentally tough to be a Christian, the world is for the wimps who hide behind anything they can find as an excuse.

You know what we were before Jesus changed us and made us His people. We were selfish, proud, arrogant, greedy, abusive, braggers, boaster of self.

Now we see the ugliness of that failure, knowing God has bought us back and so we strive against the hostility and hatred of this dark world.

God Bless you my brothers and sisters.

Matthew 6:14,  10:16-23,  John 3:16,  1 John 2:12.

Monday 31 August 2015

Copy Cats. Part-Two.

Theft.

Non of us likes to see things stolen from us, wither it be a burglary or our artists commission and yet many of us make the excuses to do it still.

The bible tells us that we must not steal from others, stealing does not just mean big things. it also means money from mummy's purse or dads wallet.

Theft is the same it is all sin, but God in His mercy says seek Me and I will forgive you through My Son Jesus.

Deuteronomy 5:19,  Amos 5:4,  Matthew 6:14,  Luke 18:20,  John 3:16,  1 John 2:12.

Monday 24 August 2015

Excuses for... Part-One.

Rioting after Carnival and Celebrations.

The summer bank holiday is next week in Great Britain and it has a traditional reputation for drugs, abuse and conflict with the police. The last few years since 2011 has been calm, but with another murder in Brixton south-London things might boil over.

Street parades and parties usually lead to some form of disturbances, we only have to look at northern-Ireland and Rio in Brazil to see how things can easily get out of hand.

But these are really all just excuses from the start for vice and sin, what they originally were based on were Christian celebrations that in a away have been hijacked and the real meaning long gone.

Genesis 3:12-13,  Acts 24:25,  Romans 1:20.

Monday 17 August 2015

STAMINA. Part-Two.

Can you keep up with It?

Endurance marks out the calling and the life of Born-Again believer, we are always pressing on for the promised prize. We cannot afford to look back, because we already know our past life is of no worth only Jesus now is our destiny.

Keeping it daily is through reading the bible and applying it in to our own situations, we also pray and study the word to get more strength.

If we do not do these things and retain this knowledge of Jesus Victory in our lives we will fade away and may be in danger of loosing our hope of Salvation. It is tough to be a Christian, because we say, 'No constantly to what the world says it wants.'

Psalm 37:24,  28,  Jeremiah 32:40,  Hosea 12:6,  Matthew 10:22,   John 6:39-40,  Galatians 5:1.

Monday 10 August 2015

Copy Cats. Part-One.

Films to Music.

The summer is here again and everyone is out enjoying it when they can, millions each day is being spent on films and music. But out there are a group of people who copy and then either use it to dub their own creations or sell it on.

The problem is twofold, one no permission was given to copyrights and two no income tax was paid in the distribution thus this is theft.

But it is now the same for many things including abuses on the Internet and perfume, money and it goes on. The bible is very clear about stealing and theft that it is wrong and must be avoided. Many who do it think God cannot see them, but He can.

Exodus 20:15,  Psalm 50:17-20,  Luke 20:24-25,  Hebrews 4:12-13.

Monday 3 August 2015

STAMINA. Part-One.

Have you got it?

What is stamina? It is staying power, the ability to keep going and that can be in anything or everything. Another definition for stamina is endurance, to push or press on.

The bible to uses many different words in relation to the cost of being a follower of Jesus, abide, hardship, patience, bearing up, suffering, long suffering, tarry, strengthened and encouraged to go on.

Who says of ever thinks that being a Christian is for wimps or weaklings, those who are bullies, thugs and trouble makers. Now we see who is really weak emotionally and strong mentally!

1 Chronicles 16:11,  Job 17:9,  Psalms 73:24, Proverbs 4:18-20, Matthew 24:13, Mark 13:13, Luke 10:42,  John 15:4-5.

Monday 27 July 2015

Obama and the KKK.

The silence is deafening.

Black people in America and Great Britain and living in modern human history, but at a cost in relation to Christian morality and a silent voice to racism. Black people are afraid to be negative in relation to Barak Obama, because he has done much for them.

The bible is very clear about compromise, because once you do it you will be marked out and later their will be consequences.

The race in America is for the first woman leader or another McCarthy style leadership. Obama has failed America with not challenging the Ku Klux Klan and he has also played the equality agenda to the point that everything that is sexual is acceptable.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10,  2 Thessalonians 2:3-4,  1 John 2:18,   Revelation 22:15.

Some Christian!

Monday 20 July 2015

Racism. Part-Two.

Changeable Man.

This is the problem with the term racism is that humans change their stance, one will say they are racist to me while they maintain their right to be racist to another. Genesis 4:9.

Jesus has never entrusted Himself to any human being, because from early on He knew these people who praised Him for the healing and miracles would be the same ones who would shout, 'Crucify Him' when that time came. John 2:25-26.

The sin in our hearts must first be addressed to God and in repentance, that is real allowing our minds and attitudes to be changed. John 3:15-21, Galatians 1:4.

Monday 13 July 2015

SIN. Part-Two.

In and Out.

Food does not effect how we are, except if we make it a problem like gluttony!

What goes into our bodies is not the cause of our failure, it is rather what we say from our hearts that is sinful.

It is of our own choice that we choose to Sin, to fail so we cannot blame another for our own choices?

Matthew 15:10-11,  Mark 7:14-15.

Monday 6 July 2015

Terror-ism. Part-Two.

7/7 --- 26/6.

It has now been ten years in the U.K. since terrorist attacked, on 7/7/2005 52 people travelling to and from work were murdered on three underground trains and one bus. Two weeks ago on the 26/6/2015 38 people from seven nations, 30 of them British holidaymakers were gunned down on a Tunisian beach.

In these two horrific attacks 5 terrorists were killed, they were all members of the same affiliated organisation based on the ideas of a few self-styled religious men. Men with their own take on their religion, we would call them Cult leaders.

The bible tells us much about self styled leaders in Jesus day, 34 years after Jesus Ascended back to Heaven a group of religious fanatics lead thousands to their slaughter at Masada, when they stood against the Roman Empire.

Mark 13:1-2,  Luke 21:5-18,  Proverbs 24:19,  Matthew 10:30,  1 Peter 3:14.

Monday 29 June 2015

Terror-ism. Part-One.

Fear, Anxiety, Causing.

What does terrorism do? It sets out to cause fear, worry, anxiety and the unknown, when is the next attack. Terrorism is the most effective way of war, because it can be carried out by one rather than one hundred or one thousand.

Joshua was a great military commander and yet he was afraid of the numbers of his enemies. He was afraid of their threats perhaps more than their actions.

This week perhaps forty people from Europe have been murdered in two terrorist attacks and the unknown factor is already at work in Britain and France.

Joshua 10:8,  Job 28;28,  Proverbs 29:25,  2 Corinthians 5;11,  7:1.

Monday 22 June 2015

'Racism. Part-One.

Nine Black Christians Murdered.

Recent photos of this young white killer portray him as pathetic, with his little flag. But this is a serious killer who was not just racist, but anti-Christian and it puts him on a par with ISIS/ISIL in his attitude.

God is not pleased with any human, when they start to think that they are better in race than their neighbour. Wither this be national or local.

All people are image in the image of God and since the fall evil people allow the pride of their hearts to rule their heads, this is how Satan fell from Heaven.

Judges 12:5-6,  Joshua 22:11,  Mark 14:20,  John 8:44.

Monday 15 June 2015

SIN. Part-One

'Ever with us.

This is the problem with failure it is always with us, wither we like it or not. We may have good intentions and even set out on doing a new thing, making a change in our lives. But not to far on we find that something comes up to change our way or direction and the next thing we almost back to sqaure one.

Paul talks about it much in his twenty-seven letters, which makes up most of the New Testament in the bible. He talks about his own battles with sin and failures, but he does offer us the hope that if we keep trust in Jesus we will make it out into Eternal glory.

Romans 7:15-20, 1 Corinthians 7:3-6, Galatians 2;14, Philippians 3:13,  Philemon 1:14.

Monday 8 June 2015

Oppression. Part-Two.

Resistance.

The world today is full of feelings and people are ending up in disaster because of them!

People say do this and live like that, but God of the bible says, 'Resist the Devil and he will flee from you.'

God offers to us who are down in the dumps a way out, one that is worth taking.

Psalm 40:1-5,   Ephesians 4:27,   James 4:7,   1 Peter 5:9.

Monday 1 June 2015

Pentecost. Part-Two.

The beginning of the End.

It was that former fisherman Peter, now and Apostle that reveals to us that the fulfilment of the Prophecy concerning the pouring out of the Holy Spirit, was also warning of the approaching end.

For us who believe in Jesus by faith, after repenting of our sins, will have no fear of knowing that Jesus is coming back for us and to take us up to heaven.

But for the dead world full of its empty sparkle and things will see a different events of changes in the skies that will strike fear and terror!

Acts 2:17-21,  19-20,  Joel 2:28-32,  Matthew 24:29,  Romans 4:5-8, Revelation 6:12-17.

Monday 25 May 2015

Pentecost. Part-One.

Holy Spirit given to all Believers.

Prior to this event the Holy Spirit was only given to certain believers so that they would be enabled to do the will of God. Now all believers from this point on would receive the Holy Spirit, because they had to be empowered to serve.

Many Christians today make the slight mistake of asking Jesus for more of the Holy Spirit and for the gifts, that they already possess and refuse to use.

Everyone outside the born-again/converted experience cannot receive this power, it is only for us.

Acts 1:8, 2:33, 1 Thessalonians 1:6, Hebrews 3:7.

Monday 18 May 2015

Oppression. Part-One.

We have the Power!

If you are a born-again or converted believer, you will have the Power of the Holy Spirit inside you. The world cannot have this power that god has given to us, this power is a passion that burns within us to keep doing the right things, to be honest and fare to all.

This power helps us to forgive those who give us a hard time, persecute and think they can oppress us? This Spirit of God is our friend, when we have failed and are weak, he comes to us and points the way back to Jesus again.

Romans 5:1-6, Psalm 22:4-5.

Monday 11 May 2015

Jesus Return. Part-Two.

Clouds of Glory.

Many of us have heard this through media, films and books, without ever knowing the bible or having any contact with Christians?

But this is an abiding truth that Jesus will return first to gather His followers in the sky and then with His army of Angels to defend Israel His chosen people.

Every eye will see Jesus in the end and there are many events in relation to His return written in the book of Revelation.

Daniel 7:13-14. Matthew 13:26, 23:39, 26:64, Luke 13:36, 22:68.

Monday 27 April 2015

Jesus Retrun. Part-One.

Jesus said, 'You will see Me!

This is not an exclusive event, the return of Jesus. Everyone will see Him, when he comes back on the clouds of glory.

Jesus told the men who sent Him to the stake/tree/cross that you will see Me again.

Where will you be on that day?

Will you be coming up into the sky to meet Him, or will you be hiding under the rocks wanting to die?

Mark 14:62, Acts 1:9-11, Revelation 4:9.

Monday 20 April 2015

Resurrection.

Jesus said...

'He would rise from the grave on the third day' and he did, thus death or the sting of death has been overcome for us who believe in Him.

Matthew 17:23,  Mark 10:34,  Luke 18:33,  Acts 10:40,  1 Corinthians 15:4.

Over five-hundred people saw the risen Lord during His forty days on Earth, before He made His Acension to Heaven.

Acts 1:3.

Many people think that is the end of the story, but it is only the beginning of a bigger story by far.

Matthew 24:18, Luke 17:31, James 5:7-8.

Monday 13 April 2015

'Thirsty.' Part-One.

Ho! ev'ry one...

that is weary and sad:

These are the opening lines to an old Redemptional song and they are fitting for this message today.

Have you ever been thirsty and hungry and have been supplied with provision from an unsuspected source?

The bible is a book that tells us about ordinary people rich and poor struggling through life and how God helps them.

Jesus warned 'Good living people to take responsibility for the poor, weak, those in prison, sick and ill. When He said to them, For I was hungry and you did not give me.'

The words of that first verse in the Sankey/Redemptional end with, 'Come to the fountain, there's a fulness in Jesus, All that you're longing for, come and be glad.

Judges 4:19,  Psalm 107:5, 33,  Proverbs 25:21, 25, Matthew 25:35, 42.

Monday 6 April 2015

'I Am the Light. Part-Four.

Walking daily in His light!

We have now come to the end of our look at what Easter is all about and now we are looking at our conditions, where do we stand in light of all that we say we know?

If we claim that we belong to Him-Jesus, are we still walking in His light of revelation or are we going on in our own strength?

Have we made a commitment to Him or do we think we either have no sin or too many that our 'Good works might get us on some sort of points system?

I John 1:5-10.

Monday 30 March 2015

'I Am the Light. Part-Three.

Walking in the Light.

Being a believer in Jesus death and resurrection is not easy, it is not for the faint hearted!  John 1:4, 8:12.

We who have faith to believe must walk in the light, we cannot be closet 'Christians or as some have become 'Sunday suits and Monday rags.'

If we have entered into Eternity, into the New Life after repenting and changing our mental attitudes we must not allow ourselves to fall back. Matthew 5:14-16.

The light we have now is temporal, the days of darkness and anti-Christ are coming and we need to be on Jesus side!
John 12:35-36.

Friday 27 March 2015

I Am the Light. Part-Two.

Preferred Darkness.  John 3:14-21.

The world is walking and rushing around in its gloom, it talks of a better future, of peace and many other high value principles. But the problem with living in the darkness is that you cannot see your own self!

The failure of each of us is hidden within our shabby coverings that we call style and fashion, it is deeper still with in our hearts and minds and that is why when we see the light of revelation and truth we hide from it.

Proverbs 1:29, 4:18, 5:12, 15:2, Psalms 1:1-3, 119:80, 105, James 1:23-25.

Monday 16 March 2015

I Am the Light. Part-One.

of the World.

There are plenty of lights out in this world evetyday try to influence us, TV, Internet, Adverts, window displays and the lits go on and on.

But there is really only one true light and if we come seeking Him, we will not be dissapointed.

Isaiah 9:2,  49:6,  John 8:12.

Monday 9 March 2015

Peer Pressure. Part-Two.

Drugs to Rape.

Growing up can be or has been very hard for some of us, who know about being abused by adults.

The drunken parents, the step-parents, uncles and aunts who touch where they should not!

So called mates who introduce us to drugs or think that rape is a way to be accepted in the gang!

God wants the best for us, some of us now try everyday to keep walking in His light of the New Life.

Job 34:30,  Psalm 119:136,  1 Corinthians 4:12.

Monday 2 March 2015

Peer Pressure. Part-One.

Hey Join Us!

When you are young you hear it all the time from mates, 'lets do this, lets try that?

When we are changing in our bodies from teenagers to adults there are a variety of new things to be tried and we will get pressured by others to join in.

But we don't have to join in anything that we do not want to do, wither there is pressure or none.

God has given to all of us choice, we wear what we want, go here and there and so we have the choice to say Yes or No.

Genesis 43:11,  Proverbs 8:10,  10:20,  Acts 15:7.

Monday 23 February 2015

Marriage. Part-Two.

Commitment and Partnership.

There is no such thing as a best or good marriage, because we are all sinners and the selfish part of us is always demanding and not wanting to let go of our selfishness.

Long marriages are survivors, some have no choice because they were either arranged or religion blocks divorce.

Marriages that have good partnership based on friendship and respect with love will stand the test of time.

To have a faith in Jesus and to be a 'real born-again Christian is even better, because then you are aware of that constant failure and are able to forgive each other.

Proverbs 18:22,  Matthew 19:8,  Ephesians 5:22-28,  1 Timothy 3:2, 11,  1 Peter 3:1-3.

Monday 16 February 2015

Love. Part-Two.

Care and Concern.

Do you care about your family, mum, dad, grandparents, brothers, sisters, relatives?

It is so easy to love your own and it is so easy to say, 'I love you!

What God really wants us to do is to show real care and concern for others, do the washing up, sweep the yard, take some old person to the store and if they over run on the cost you pay that extra.

Now that is showing real love, just like Jesus showed us His love by going to the cross.

Genesis 4:9,  Psalm 27:10,  Proverbs 1:32,   Matthew 25:36,   Acts 20:32.

Love. Part-One.

Loving those who hate Us.

Now that is a hard thing to put into practice, when the natural wants to strike back.

Many people only love others close to them, mum, dad brother, sister, wife, husband, girl-boy friend and 'that is easy says Jesus.

God wants us to love those who hate us, that have done us wrong and who don't say Thank you.

This is the real love you can put into practice this Saint Valentines Day, because your Eternal reward will be in Heaven waiting for you.

Matthew 5:44-48, Luke 6:27, 35, 1 Peter 3:9.

Marriage. Part-One.

Between a Man and a Woman.

This is Gods way and nearly every religion on our planet has accepted it.

Western society today wants everyone to be free and people can do almost what they want!

But we know they can, but we cannot?

Leviticus 18:22, Matthew 19:4-6, 1 Corinthians 7:2, 11:11.

Incest. Part-Two.

Brother and Sister.

This is more common than many people want to realise in human society, there are many reasons for this wrong love to occur.

Sometimes it is the lack of love from one parent or it may just be lust.

Here we have Absalom one of the sons of King David falling for his own sister and thus raping her and putting a curse on himself.

2 Samuel 13:1-13, Proverbs 6:25,  Matthew 5:28.

Emancipation. Part-Two.

Continuing Problems.

Slavery might have gone, but racism has not against Black-Afro Americans, Native India peoples and many other groups in the United States. Meanwhile in Europe there remains problems in the United Kingdom and France, Netherlands.

Aboriginals in Australia also get a hard time, but this problem in humanity is not one sided of just white on black. Black people can be racists to and as long as this factor is not recognised the current problems will not be resolved.

Faith in the New Life that the 'Ymmi Jesus offers us is the only way to being set free from many of the powers that Satan continues to use to blind the world of and causes the roots of division.

1 Corinthians 15:2-3, 52-58.

Emancipation. Part-One.

1st January 1863.

The end of black slavery in the United States of America ended on this day, but the racial prejudice continues to this day, as has been seen in Ferguson and many other places too. Humanity comes up with many ideas, plans and statements, yesterday over 2 million people marched through Paris, France to uphold their ability to jeer another religion.

God sees everything, wither we are saved or lost, He is always watching the world and he knows what is in our hearts and minds. People are in the habit of forgetting this, many believe that saying sorry for their actions today means that tomorrow they can go back and do the same and it will keep them right with God. They have got that idea very wrong and they will neither inherit anything or eternal life.

Psalm 2:4-5,  Proverbs 1:24-27,  2 Peter 3:3.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.

2015.

Being a born-again or convert to Christianity is all about pushing on and knowing that we have a future and are already a part of Eternity. Our calling and purpose as a believer in Jesus is to serve, to put ourselves out for others.

The bible encourages us to race on, push on, persevere for that prize, rather than to keep looking back. There is a time for reflection and it is always a good thing to do it for a while, but not to allow ourselves to dwell on it.

Luke 9:62,  Philippians 3:12,  Hebrews 11:16,  2 Peter 2:13.
