CHRISTMAS. Part-One.

A Star.

There are two things when people think about a star, its a celeb or one that is seen in the night sky?

God chose a disturbed man to make the most amazing and prolific statement in the Bible about a certain star that was to rise over Jacob.

That same star was followed by the Magi to find the baby Jesus and that same star today is still shinning in the hearts of millions who believe and live in Him daily.

So my friend let me ask you, 'Where is that Star with you this season?

Preparing for Christmas.

Care and Concern.

Christmas is perhaps the biggest holiday season in the world, it comes but once a year and lasts for about one month. This depends on which tradition you belong to, but most of this season today is more about things than the central message.

Jesus came into our world by two miracles, one He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus was not born in a palace as the wise men or Magi thought, searching for the New Born King. Jesus was born in a dirty stable and laid in an animal feeder.

There is a big difference between being a traditional Christian and a Born-Again or Converted believer. We may be preparing our food, drinks and presents, and everything else such as presents, decorations and the tree.

But Jesus warns us that we need always to be looking out for others, who are in need!

Matthew 25:35-46,  Hebrews 6:10-12,  13:2,  James 1:27,  2:14-16.

New Enemies. Part-Two.

Urban Terrorism.

Paris Friday 13th November will remain in the memory of 500 people who have lost loved ones or who have relatives and friends injured. Child soldiers and Urban terrorism was deployed on the streets of France for the second time this year.

It has been 45 years since we last saw homegrown urban terrorists operating on European streets and these new ones will take full advantage of the media, Internet to spread their message.

Fifty years ago one could draw any cartoon strip one liked in the western world, without fear of it being seen and offended by the masses. it was only wealthy people who had access to foreign newspapers. But today the world will see it quicker through the cameras on our mobile cell phones, than even the Net.

Evil may hide in the darkness, plan and work at its hurts, but the light of God will always reveal the truth of actions and the condition of the mind and soul!

Isaiah 40:27-31,  Romans 1:20-21,  Philippians 4:13,  James 4:17.

PEACEMAKERS....

Think you have what it Takes?

There are many people today who are called negotiators and some of them do a good job, for the police and security agencies across our globe. They have a mental profile training that allows them to use subtle words to cause doubt and relive tension in those who out of desperation want to hurt.

The bible tells us that it is only believers in Jesus, who are the real Peacemakers! Believers have faith in God and we have the promised Holy Spirit that gives us New Life. This same Spirit of God gives us access to help others, believers and non believers.

It takes courage to go into a difficult situation, to be accused by all sides of interfering when that could be what will save the day?

Matthew 5:9-12,  44-45,  Luke 6:35-36,  Romans 8:14-15.

New Enemies. Part-One.

Threats.

The world is much different today than it was forty years ago! We live today in the fast lane of media and technoloy and internet, our world family is now smaller and closer than ever before.

So we face new kinds of threats from these technologies that we cannot no longer avoid, two or three kids in their bedrooms have hacked into a bank accounts and published them.

Hackers accessed Madison and exposed peoples dirty little secrets, behind their spouces backs. Everyday we hear of new things, it is now belived that even aircraft on autopilot are not safe from hackers.

But our God he sees everything and he will face off our enemies.

Deuteronomy 7:10,  Ezekiel 1:10,  22:8-12,   Matthew 15:19,  Galatians 5:19-21,  2 Peter 3:9-10.
