The Magnificat! One.

It does not have to mean the Veneration of Mary?

Evangelical and Protestant Christians get up set about this part of the Christmas story that they exclude, because of the Roman Church veneration Mary!

But this is one of those most important passages that many are missing out in relation to the virgin birth of Jesus from his Incarnate existence to  that of being human or having a human body which is maintained in Heaven for eternity with the wounds of the cross/stake/tree!

Mary is exalting God, for choosing her to be the earthly mother of the Messiah, and that she would be remembered for that role?

Luke 1:46-55,  Psalm 34:2-3,  Isaiah 12:2-3,  61:10,  Zephaniah 3:14-17.

Christmas Miracles. One.

Virgin Birth!

Even today many believers cannot fathom the virgin birth of Jesus and they find all the worldly excuses of a child born outside of wedlock? This is a sad situation and probably explains why Christianity is in active in many parts of the western world?

Jesus was promised by God's Prophets for thousands of years and Mary was chosen by God, because of her and Josephs linage. It is hard to understand, but the Holy Spirit entered her womb and Jesus was conceived, but Mary remained untouched as in normal sexual relations!

The Holy Spirit today lives within each believer, empowering them to witness our faith and to serve in many ways! Our New Life is more than singing songs and praising the Lord, its about getting our hands dirty and getting out of ones comfort zone?

Psalm 2:7, Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1;23,  Luke 1:27-28, 33, 35, John 1:49, 20:31, Acts 3:13, 26, Galatians 2:20.

CHRISTMAS. Part-Two.

Undesirables.

Yes you heard correctly! The shepherds were the men that god chose to go see this promised Messiah to Israel and the Saviour of the world. Luke 2:8-18.

They both shared a common ancestor and profession, King David started off in humble circumstances too. 1 Samuel 17:20, 28, 34-35.

Jesus would later say, 'That he was the shepherd and all of us who follow Him, His sheep.' John 10:11.

The question that I am asking you this Speacial Season is can you answer back and say. Psalm 23:1-2.
