LOVE?

 'He Loved us First!

We may have our own ideas or concepts about love and what this emotion is all about, but it may not be real as we think it is?

The world today is full of people loving everything, they say the words in relation to objects and people like water running out of their mouths and yet we know that in reality the words have little or no meaning!

When it comes to helping others, most people will not get involved in a situation, they pass it by hoping to get clear as quick as possible, while others don't want to get involved because of a bad experience?

But God's love is the only real one, since He gave to us His one and only son and Jesus showed compassion to many that He healed and saved like us too and from this is laid a foundation for us to follow!

John 3:3, 16, 14:6, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, Ephesians 2:4, 5:2, 1 John 3:4,  4:10-11, 19.

Domestic Abuse! Part-Two.

Breakdown, but not Breakup?

All relationships will have periods of stress and friction, since we are all sinners and fall all the time! Marriages are built on vows to God and promises to each other, that couples should take seriously and stop emphasising themselves and what they want!

We can have a breakdown in a relationship, but it does not mean the end even when their is violence? Because some violence can be treated and stopped, especially by good friends around us who can intervene and advise?

In other cases things just get worse and couples have to split apart, in these case one side may face time in prison for their foolish actions? There are so many combination of factors at play in the human psyche proving that we are much more intelligent than any of the other creatures around us!

Deuteronomy 24:1,  Ecclesiastes 5:4-5,  Matthew 5:31,  Mark 10:4,   Hebrews 6:13-17.

A British Royal Wedding!

Fire, Love, Vows?

Its a time for change in the British Royal family and may it continue over colour and religions, but may these marriages last the trial of life?

Saturday 19th May was Pentecost and the theme was Love and Fire, accompanied by the vows of promises to each other and to God!

Love is something that is much said in our world today, but many of us who have come from broken homes and witnessing domestic violence know how much it was lacking from mum and dad?

But because Jesus found us, He has given us the fullness of His Love in accepting us and yet He was rejected by all at the Cross/stake/tree!

Matthew 18:18,  19:5-6,   Acts 2:3,  Ephesians 4:13,  1 John 3:18,  4:8,   Genesis 2:24,   Numbers 6:21.

Nothing Like Love. ONE.

Human Nature.

There are many aspects to love, parent to child, baby to mother, brotherly, friendship.

Then we have the love of things, houses, models, money, business, cars, jewellery, pets, animals, nature, interests, work,

Then we have the love between and man and woman, of romance, of marriage, of sex, of intimacy,

Love is cheap in the world, because it is full of selfishness and expects a return always!

God's love is not like that it is unconditional.

Psalm 1:3, Isaiah 57;1, Galatians 5:22-23.

Marriage. Part-One.

Between a Man and a Woman.

This is Gods way and nearly every religion on our planet has accepted it.

Western society today wants everyone to be free and people can do almost what they want!

But we know they can, but we cannot?

Leviticus 18:22, Matthew 19:4-6, 1 Corinthians 7:2, 11:11.

Sexual Exploitation. Part-One.

Prostitition.

We normally associat this proffession with woman, and men paying for sex. But it is the bible that tells us that men and boys are also exploited into this game of evil.

Sex was created by God for men and woman to enjoy the reproduction process and it was to be within love and marriage, anything outside of this was to be treated as sin.

Genesis 38:15, 21, Deuteronomy 23:18, Joel 3:3, 1 Corinthians 6:16-17, Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5.

Fatherhood. Part-One.

Gods Way.

You the daddy, or you like to make but then take no responsibility?

God is straight, He wants us to be responsible fathers.

It is  the right thing to get married and have a family.

God does not like two men or two woman to get married and have a family, because that is not His order of Nature.

Genesis 2:24,  Matthew 19:5-6,   Mark 10:8.
