LOVE!

 The key to Success?

Love solves problems wither in Ekklesia, at home, work the political word, if we know we are loved it really helps to build understanding and thus many things will get solved!

We as believers know that we love God and that He loves us, but the key is when we love others showing both concern and compassion for them as Jesus has for us?

If we had more love for others most of the problems in our world today would get solved and the power of sin in the lives of many would be stumped!

John 3:3, 14-21, Mark 10:21, Luke 7:47, Hebrews 1:9,  1 John 4:10-11.

The Love of God!

 Compassion?

We do not see much compassion with even the best of people at the worst of times and yet we are told in the New Testament of the Holy Bible that Jesus showed compassion to people!

The word is defined as having pity rather than showing love, Jesus had pity on the crowds who followed Him, because they were Spiritually dull and yet they wanted many things a leader to free them from the Roman occupation and a healer!

Today many people are searching for answers to the problems of life, but at the same time they do not want God? Because they have been told God is about rules and religion is rubbish and we can solve all our problems if we can find the answers ourselves?

Matthew/Levi 9:36,  14:14,  15:32,  20:34,  Mark 9:22,  Luke 10:33,  Romans 9:15,  Colossians 3:12, 1 John 3:17.

LOVE?

 'He Loved us First!

We may have our own ideas or concepts about love and what this emotion is all about, but it may not be real as we think it is?

The world today is full of people loving everything, they say the words in relation to objects and people like water running out of their mouths and yet we know that in reality the words have little or no meaning!

When it comes to helping others, most people will not get involved in a situation, they pass it by hoping to get clear as quick as possible, while others don't want to get involved because of a bad experience?

But God's love is the only real one, since He gave to us His one and only son and Jesus showed compassion to many that He healed and saved like us too and from this is laid a foundation for us to follow!

John 3:3, 16, 14:6, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, Ephesians 2:4, 5:2, 1 John 3:4,  4:10-11, 19.

COVID-19 'A time to Love?

It is hard to love people who float Quarantine!

Is this the right time of the year to be talking about love, and why would it not be?

Arrogance and ignorance are terrible conditions to be in, when many of us have relatives that work in hospitals or clean up after old folks!

We may be disgusted or critical of their habits and failings, but we too will be there one day shitty and messy not able to control mental functions apart from anything else?

Love is the key to being a believer in Jesus, since He had compassion we who follow Him must too have the same or try to do our best! He was sinless, we are not but we can try with difficult people to win them over and not fall victim to this truly awful virus?

Psalm 145:9,   Isaiah 63:9,   Matthew/Levi 15:32,   Luke 10:33,   Philippians  2:1,  Colossians 3:12,  Hebrews 10:34,  James 3:17,   5:11.

The Difference?

Between them and Us!

There is a huge difference between us who are born-again and the world, we have the comforter within and should know the will of God!

But the world continue on in its own strength, as beasts pretending to be good in it own eyes but always seeking for itself?

Our New hearts give us a compassion to reach the lost, lonely and troubled that live around us with material help, a listening ear and the offer of the hope that we too have in Jesus.

1 Corinthians 2:13-16,    John 16:13-16,    Jude 1:10-11.

Genocide! Part-Two.

Armenia and Windrush?

Racism is not limited in the world to the effects of the former European Empires of Imperial times, but also to the Muslim world from Barbary to the Turkish unification before and after the fall of the Ottoman Empire?

Armenia was a genocide on a par with that of the Jewish Holocaust and the Japanese work force death camps of Manchuria 1931-45.

But here now in the 21st Century boarding papers for a whole group of loyal British citizens was lost and excused by our own PM Mrs. May who continues to lie and cheat this nation of its democracy?

Even Donald Trump is fixated with a wall that Genghis Khan sailed round back in the days of ancient China and so much for the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific ocean! He even has the audacity to justify employing an anti-Semite and Hitler lover to build this wall for him?

Humanities ability to hate, to separate, to kill fellow humans is unlimited! One hopes that faith in Jesus will win the day, seeing what Jesus saw having compassion and loving those who hate us is the key to showing who and what we believe in!

Numbers 14:19,  1 Kings 8:50,  2 Chronicles 36:15,  Psalm 17:10,  Proverbs 12:10,  Isaiah 54:8,  Mark 2:10, Luke 10:33,  Ephesians 4:32,  Colossians 3:12.

LOVE Expressed?

St. Valentines Day.

The romantics in us will perhaps mark this day with the card, roses, box of something nice and the meal? Some will do it as an appreciation of the wife/husband other to get that partner into bed for a randy night of passion?

But this is not what St. Valentine is all about, but rather expressing Christian love to those who are without, the poor, the immigrant, the refuges, the homeless and so the list can go on and on? What is involved is putting yourself out for others, a meal, a blanket, clean clothing, a chat, showing interest and concern for what they have are and possibly might go through!

It about showing the love of Jesus, if what we claim is real in that we know the Lord Jesus as our saviour? We have to show His compassion, because any of us could fall and end up on the streets, be homeless or addicted to something?

Matthew 9:36, 15:32, Ephesians 2:4,  1 John 4:10-11, 19.

'Fake News?'

Who is telling it?

One U.S. president has come up with this term on his media services, re his election to office? But the truth is he is as much to blame, as his own media? All media services are advised by their governments on what they can and cannot report? Degrees of freedom change from country to country to the point of being closed and controlled!

The world will tell you there is No God, religion, Church going, is either rubbish or a waste of time? This is the real fake news, the denial of a loving unconditional God and His compassionate son who died on the cross to free us from our sins and rose from to dead to set us free and allow us entry to Heaven!

Psalm 40:9,  45:1, Proverbs 15:30,  Isaiah 40:9,  61:1, Matthew/Levi 11:15,  Luke 1:19,  Acts 8:12,  Romans 10:15, Hebrews 4:2,  6,  1 Peter 1:12,  25.

Love. One.

Compassion.

Do we have compassion for other people, especially those in the current news? The immigrants and refugees fleeing war, persecution and death? It is so easy today to say we love, this that and the other, but when it come to practise it can be misconstrued as something else?

The bible tells us that Jesus had compassion on the masses that were out in the fields and hills waiting on Him all day! Jesus had compassion on many people, some had little faith, others found it hard to trust and He too had compassion on us who deserved nothing but punishment for our wrong doing?

Colossians 3:25, Psalm 78:38, 145:8, Matthew 14;14, 15;32, 20:34, Mark 1:41, 8;2, 1 John 3:17.

Nothing like LOVE. Two.

God's Love, real Love.

The love of God/Jesus is a love of cost and value, it is not about empty words!

If we believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus and have repented of our failure, God asks us to Love Him and to love those around us.

Actions do speak louder than words and No thanks is better than flattery.

The love of fellowship, friendship in care and concern and in compassion, what more should be said?

Matthew 22:37-39,  Mark 12:30-31,  Deuteronomy 6:5-7, Philemon 1:8-10,  James 5:20.
