Samson and Esther!

Acting on faith for the right Time?

In the book of Esther God is not mentioned, while in the life of Samson, many thought he was a crazy guy and yet they knew they were in the will of God, but their respective timings had to be right!

We can gain much of a lesson from these two people, patience and perseverance are key to working with faith, but also we can learn much from others like Noah, Abraham and the Apostle Paul, if not John who out lived all surviving a death camp!

Each of us is an individual and through the power workings of the Holy Spirit we will be lead in a different way, some will have to stay put like the mad man that Jesus healed and others go out like Phillip to being translated?

#blm in Retrospect?

 A past Event!

One was taken recently to hear U.S. media reporting that the Black lives Movement was something of a past event and that it no longer had any powers in relation to the present situation in the States?

But this must be lies, since recent shootings of more young black men has nor been fully addressed either by Joe Biden or Kamela Harris, with troopers being called into settle the situation!

It would seem that the current administration has only its eyes on the Ukraine and what historical fame that will bring to the current leadership, while domestic issues just will be laid by?

'Our Heart? Two.

Where are We?

We know that God tells us that our hearts are deceptive, we may like to think that we are alright? Because we are living in the right way in our own eyes, people like us, respect us, because we are being honest and truthful?

But this is not enough with God, we have to believe that Jesus died for our failures and rose again on the third day from the grave! It is through our confession and repentance that we make that mental change of our attitudes of hostility towards Him, that tell and ask for His forgiveness of past failures then we are born again?

We have a choice to make and being Born-Again does not mean an excuse to pretend to be saved and live as the world, but to be filled with the Holy Spirit and live in the power of God daily in this hostile world?

New year 2018.

Seasons Greetings and A Happy new Year!

This is another New year and the time when our emergency rooms and hospitals will be filled with people facing terminal illnesses, following the excess of the season in food and drink?

It is also the time of the year when people will realise that they are in debt, from wanting to buy everyone something for Christmas? Many people are not serious today about being in debt, they think it can all be swept away, but in latter life they may find the essentials that they need will be refused because of their pasts!

This is the same with knowing or not knowing God?

Rational thinking in the Church is blocking off the powerful message of Jesus Virgin birth and the importance to us of who He is!

Easter. Part-Two.

Jesus perfect and sinless Man!

Jesus chose of His own free will to go to the cross/tree/stake for our purchasing back to God! He was the perfect sacrifice, much better than any animal that had been offered since the days of Abel, Tabernacle and the Temple!

Blood had to be always shed for the remission of sins on everything, we see this on the door posts before the Exodus from Egypt by Moses, we see it in nearly every sacrifice that was offered to God!

But now Jesus died taking our sin on His body and removing past failure, allowing us into a New Life with Him and His father!

Exodus 12;13,  29:20,  Matthew 26:28,  Luke 22:20,  Acts 20:28.

Pentecost. Part-One.

Holy Spirit given to all Believers.

Prior to this event the Holy Spirit was only given to certain believers so that they would be enabled to do the will of God. Now all believers from this point on would receive the Holy Spirit, because they had to be empowered to serve.

Many Christians today make the slight mistake of asking Jesus for more of the Holy Spirit and for the gifts, that they already possess and refuse to use.

Everyone outside the born-again/converted experience cannot receive this power, it is only for us.

Acts 1:8, 2:33, 1 Thessalonians 1:6, Hebrews 3:7.
