 To Have!

To believe in the death, resurrection and promised return of the Lord is one thing, but to follow Jesus is another?

To imitate, to apply Jesus actions everyday in our lives is hard and that is perhaps why many people who claim faith are unhappy, since they live as the world?

We were purchased at a heavy price and it is sad to see that many fail at this essential and simple hurdle or that they abuse the power they have been invested with!

 'A serious shock to the World?

A true day of madness from the U.S. Q-Anon/Parler president who attempted a 'Adolf Hitler Putsch in the United States after inciting violence that killed five people and injured 60+ and then hours after praising the attack or ransacking of the Capitol said that these people made him look really bad!

One could not get a statement of double-standards more than this and the many Republicans who initially refused to condemn the assault in many countries by now would be hanging from the lamp posts?

The internet has shut him out because he is still and probably always will incite hatred, instead of facing the truth that he lost to a nation that turned on him playing golf while thousands of people were dying and failing to deal with police brutality n relation to #BLM!

But even now with the death of a police officer he has been caught out by his own hypocrisy and language used!

Piracy? Two.

Taking by Force?

As believers there may be a time when we may have to act in a certain way to take control of a situation to save lives?

But generally the term for piracy is criminal and if we are a people of faith we cannot continue to live as the world does, since we have been bought back to God by the precious blood of His Son Jesus!

This is not a light matter as some false or misguided believers might like to suggest, we do in some ways have to be seen by both the world around us and in secret by God doing what is right? We will fail from time to time, but we must not excuse ourselves or reject the truth!

Garden of Tears.

If you ever get the opportunity to visit the Holy land on one of those Church tours, this is one place worth visiting! It is not much, but for believers it is great place to remember the cost that Jesus paid for us, even the shedding of tears to blood and that well before the Cross/stake/tree!

Jesus went to pray on that little hill and He took His Disciples, of course he knew the sequence of events that were to follow! He knew those loyal men were weak and physically tired and would fall asleep! He knew what Judas was up to and the men of violence were on their way!

With this we open the events of three days that have changed the world, because of the so many individuals who lives like our who have been changed for evermore! The question is what are you going to do with this opportunity to seek, confess, and repent of your failure?

Knowing that a loving unconditional God will forgive you and never bring to book again that sin?

Easter. Part-Two.

Jesus perfect and sinless Man!

Jesus chose of His own free will to go to the cross/tree/stake for our purchasing back to God! He was the perfect sacrifice, much better than any animal that had been offered since the days of Abel, Tabernacle and the Temple!

Blood had to be always shed for the remission of sins on everything, we see this on the door posts before the Exodus from Egypt by Moses, we see it in nearly every sacrifice that was offered to God!

But now Jesus died taking our sin on His body and removing past failure, allowing us into a New Life with Him and His father!

Exodus 12;13,  29:20,  Matthew 26:28,  Luke 22:20,  Acts 20:28.

Sinning. Part-One.

Continuing to Sin.

There are many who claim a faith in God today, but they continue to live in the world, as the world. They show nothing of the New Life that they claim to have in Jesus death and resurrection for them?

God warns those who have believed and who then think that they can abuse their position with Him, will loose their salvation! The blood that Jesus spilt for us on the cross/tree/stake is very precious, it was to buy us back to God.

But if we abuse that relationship by living and continuing on in the sinful nature, we will be refused entry into His rest.

Hebrews 10:26, Numbers 15:28-31, Deuteronomy 17:12, Psalm 19:12-13, Matthew 12:31-32, 1 Timothy 1:13, 2 peter 2:20-22.

Reconciliation....

Our way back to God.

God accepts nothing without the shedding of blood, which makes it Holy.

In times past everything that was offered had to be covered by the blood of animals.

The problem was that it did not put and end to sin and had to be offered time and again.

Jesus, Gods own son was the perfect answer, all who confess Him have been covered in His blood of reconciliation back to the Father.

God always provided a way for people in need to seek Him, But now we have Jesus the perfect sacrifice to turn too.
