The Easter Impact! Two.

 The rolling Stone?

The grave could not hold Jesus the Son of God and as He promised He would be raised on the third day from the grave, those who followed Him came to the garden and saw that mighty stone had been rolled away!

Matthew/Levi 28:2,  Mark 15:46, 16:4. Luke 24:2, John 20:1.

The question to be asked is do we too have a stone that covers our hearts, when it comes to God and Jesus?

A stone that can only really be moved by God, if would but turn to Him and believe we would be a New person and He would give to us a New Heart and a New Life?

Ezekiel 11:19,  36:26.

E-2.

Resurrection to New Life!

We cannot enter into our New Lives, without Jesus rising from the dead?

Jesus rose on the third day as He said He would, so that death would be conquered and the victory gained for us!

Much work was done by our Lord between His death and rising, in gathering all the captives of the past and setting them free!

Jesus spent forty days here on Earth and was seen by over five-hundred people, apart from His Disciples.

Matthew 20:19,   Luke 13:32,   Acts 2:31,   Romans 6:5,  1 Corinthians 15:4,  16:2,   1 Peter 1:3.

Day two! Part-One.

Day One death, day three Resurrection!

These are generally the two emphasis points of the Easter story, but day two is the one that is over looked and yet it is essential to understand all three together, because without it many believers today are missing the points later on in the New Testament teaching?

Jesus birth, death and resurrection are key to understanding why He had to die, fulfilling the Jewish Laws for us as the final sacrifice for sin and His rising allows us to enter into the promises of Eternal Life, but we are now in the New Life!

Much of the work of Jesus was done in the grave of reconciling Jews and Gentiles of gathering the captives in His train and all the while the world was trying to undermine these events with lies to dispute the truth, which it continues to do to this day!

Isaiah 26:19,   60:1,   61:1,   Luke 4:18,   John 5:25,   12:46,   Ephesians 5:14,   Colossians 1:13.

Our Choices? Two.

The way we want to be Seen?

Religion is the way we appear perhaps one or two days a week for certain people, otherwise we are blown to the wind in depravity and the world?

But faith in God, through both confession and repentance leads us to be Born-Again and enter into a new relationship and Life!

There is a big difference between keeping rules or none and faith in the death for us of Jesus and His rising from the dead on the third day!

It is up to us to choose, do we continue being hypocrites or will we be a people of faith?

Psalm 16:5,  John 3:3,  15-17,  31-36,  Romans 3:22-23, 6:22-23,  Philippians 1:29.

Political Sickness?

Anarchy!

The world is mad at the moment with its conceptions of what is politics, many are being seen for what they are and what they should not be?

Many nations are in political anarchy and they can no longer hide their lies or pull the wool over peoples eyes! Meanwhile those in opposition are no better, with confusion reigning and members  allowed to run wild with their ideas and prejudices?

Who to vote for and what will be the outcome, this is now becoming a harder question than it has been for some time, and one does not know the answer!

But faith in Jesus, is the answer to a New Life and a New way! Leaving behind the concerns of the world, and coming into new things!

Yes we have to live in the world, but the world will no longer live in us!

Matthew 5:14,  24:21,  Mark 10:30,  Luke 9:25,  John 1:9, 29,  1 Corinthians 3:19.

Summer Opportunities? Two.

Every moment an Opportunity!

As believers our main mission is to share our faith in love and win others to Jesus, as we were to won to Him! This witness has to be done in kindness, but also with a warning of the grave consequences that if this message is not heeded disaster lays ahead!

We live in an age of the doctrine of the Love of God and this is true up to a point and that of sin? The bible has not changed in relation to what God has said about sin, only that we who believe by faith have had the law fulfilled for us by Jesus death on the cross/stake/tree!

But when this time of grace or Gods favour is over comes His wrath of Judgement and His conditions will be met before Eternity, which is the final dispensation!

Psalm 5:11,  Proverbs 18:21,  Matthew 3:7,  John 3:15-21,  31-36,  Acts 4:12,  Romans 3:23,  5:9, 6:23,  Galatians 5:14,  Ephesians 2:4,  Colossians 1:28,  3:8,  1 Peter 1:8,  1 John 2:5.

Fire People? One.

Living in the power of God!

When we are born-again we are given an internal fire or power that helps us to be active for God! There are many issues today in the Church, which stop believers from remaining active, such as criticism and unbelief!

But if we are empowered we will not stop, since our witness will be done in secret or rather we will not brag about it to others?

At the end of the day our service for the Kingdom is to know that we are in partnership with Jesus and this is not a work of self!

John 1:7,   5:32,   Acts 23:11,  Philippians 1:5-6,  Hebrews 2:4.

EASTER! Three.

Arisen and Seen!

There are many Church going people who enjoy celebrating Easter, but they only go half way not believing in the resurrection? They think that to accept that Jesus died for their sins is enough, but they fail to see that they cannot be fully saved without the power unleashed by God in the resurrection of Our Lord?

We cannot enter into the promised New Life, without first recognising Jesus victory over the sting of death and the setting free of the captives! These are essential to having the full assurances of knowing that we have been called and chosen by God!

We need to understand today where we stand with God and know the essential truths of these serious matters in relation to our onw individual destinies?

Psalm 14:1,  53:1,  Matthew 13:25-40,  Acts 2:31,  4:2,  Romans 1:4,  14:17,  1 Peter 1:3,  2 Peter 1:10-11.

The Chasm? Part-Two/

Many have it in this life?

These many include the many who claim to be Christians, but the reality is that they are imposters!

They are like the greedy evil people of this world who are now enjoying the fruits on the backs of others, but God is not blind and He will not be mocked when all of humanity will have to face the Judgement seat of God!

What many forget is that there is no once saved always saved and it is up to us to work out our own salvation by keeping on the path of truth!

The chasm that is in place between us and God has been filled by Jesus, since He is the only way to salvation! It is he who we must seek and who real followers must press on with daily!

1 Samuel 25:36,  2 Thessalonians 1:4-10,  James 5:1-7,  Revelation 22:11.

Meeting the Ancestors?

All Hallows/Halloween!

Nearly every culture around the globe has something similar at some point of the year, where there folklore has to deal with the living and the dead and some form of contact being made? This time of the year was dreaded in the belief of meeting the ancestors, especially if you were a murderer since all would be revealed?

Today the Christian festivals of All Hallows and Halloween have been hijacked by commercialism and the message of Jesus light over the powers of the devil lost in the fun and fireworks?

But Jesus did defeat Satan at the temptation in the wilderness and finally at the cross and Jesus resurrection from the dead for all of us who have been set free from darkness into our New Life relationships with Him!

Psalm 18:5,  Matthew/Levi 4:1, 10:28,  John 8:12,  9:5,  12:46,  2 Peter 2:4.

Value of People. Part-One.

The value of Life!

This is a great humanitarian statement that you will hear again and again in the media, by government and politicians alike? But when it comes down to the one person level the term is lost in the crowds of misery!

So here now we see the human condition of inherited sin at work, when bias and prejudice come into focus! Following the ravages of hurricane storm Irma across the Caribbean, N-Cuba and Florida, western journalism (British) began to play down the effects of this massive storm to justify the responses of their government?

The value of people by some empire builders is still based on white wealth and investments, over the ex-no native black population? This is a world-wide problem as much in poor nations, across the Muslim and Communist world too.

Genesis 29:20, Psalm 4:2, Galatians 5:13, Ephesians 4:2, 1 Thessalonians 5:13, Philemon 1:7, James 2:5.

Thirsty? One.

Needing a Drink?

People long ago in Europe made mead or beer to drink, mostly in towns and cities where the water was dirty? People washed their cloths and bodies in the water, but out I the sticks many had seasonal wells of fresh water, while everything else was done in the streams and rivers or on the boiling pot.

Jesus asked a Samaritan woman at the well for a drink and promised her Eternal Life, this fact in human history has not stopped yet and you are being offered that same water to refresh your mind and heart to know you failures and too repent of them!

Psalm 107:35,   John 4:14,   Isaiah 12:3.

Life and Death?

Medicine does not have all the Cures?

It big news at this time about a little baby, who is being kept alive by a machine at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). But others believe there is the possibility of a cure in the U.S. that is worth following through?

We so much need hope today in this world, hope that life will be lived over that of death and murder! The youth are killing themselves over crap rivalry and listening to music that is neither cultural or inspiring!

We all need to have our faith in God, to believe in the impossible to know that we are cared for and loved by God who gave us His one and only Son! So that we would be set free from the darkness of this life into the hope of the New Life!

John 3:3,  15-16,  31-36,  Proverbs 8:30,  Philippians 2:9-11.

Thou shall Not?

Grace and Law.

The world lives under the Laws of God found in Exodus chapter 20, but we who know Jesus as our personal saviour are under His Grace.

It is hard to tell people sometimes that we have been chosen! Many of us were going our own way and out of the blue, things changed and soon we discovered the knowledge that we were in a depraved state of sin?

You see the Law does not save us, it condems us to be breakers of its demands!

God's grace on the other hand gives us the promise of a New Start with Him to Freedom!

Jeremiah 3:13,  Colossians 2:20-23,  3:1-4,  10-11.

The ball is Rolling. Part-Two.

Choices of Destiny are Coming?

America will soon decide on one of two of really about the same opposites of each other?

Both represent the same thing, to keep the establishment of their own race?

One is moderate by reputation the other harsher and more racist, but it is time that will judge what or who they really are?

The best choice first is faith in Jesus, because he will never let us down as long as we walk in His ways and follow! Because He is the only one who can promise us forgiveness of failure and Life Eternal!

John 10:27,  1 Corinthians 14:1,  Hebrews 12:14.

No tit for Tat!

We are not called to do Evil!

The world is full of anger about the loss of what it wants over that of letting go and sharing?

Believers in Jesus by faith in His death and resurrection have been set free from the powers of darkness!

We are no longer what we were and in this New Life, that begins the moment we believed we are not a people of doing tit for tat.

Psalm 38:20,  1 Thessalonians 5:15,  1 Peter 3:9.

Saints and Sinners. Part-Two.

What and who are the Saints?

Roman Catholicism has venerated those they believe have performed miracles, but the bible says that all purchased failures are the saints. Those who went before us in each fellowship are the saints, they look over us as the body of believers. Hebrews 12:1, 1 Peter 5:12.

God so loved the world, that he gave us His one and only son. God does not want people to perish, but for all to turn to Him. We are lost now in the darkness of failure, but we can come out of it into His Eternal light. John 3:19-21, 9:5, 2 Peter 3:9.

The choice is always with us?

Will you choose today to surrender to His will and be set free from the emptiness of filth, riches and the muck of this life to the promises of New things in His?  Joshua 24:15-18,

SLAVERY. Part-Two.

Servitude.

Who do you belong to, The Devil or Jesus?

If you belong to the Devil, you are part of this world that is lost and heading for decay.

If you belong to Jesus, you have been set free and are in New Life and entering Eternity.

John 8:32,  36,  1 Corinthians 7:21-23, Galatians 3:28,  Philemon 1:1-21.

'Second Class. Part-Two.

Delivered, Rescued, Redeemed.

The pressure, the oppression it cannot last for ever, but sometimes it seems too? Many people have gone through the mill of life and they have been delivered by God, God chose us not because we were good.

But because we saw what we were and called out to Him and He heard us and changed us, because he sees us not as we are, but as what he has for us.

So if you think you are a second class whatever, trust Him now and get delivered to destination Heaven.

Psalm 119:122,  134,  Luke 1:74-75,  Acts 9:31.

Crib n Cross. Part-Two.

Born to Die.

The story of the baby Jesus, does not end after Christmas He grows up helping His earthly father Joseph the carpenter in Nazareth. We learn from the bible that He was a perfect child. John 6:42.

But Mary still had to clean up after Him, when a babe and toddler! He stayed behind in Jerusalem talking to the teachers of the Law. Luke 2:46.

But when rebuked He obeyed his parents.  Luke 2:51.

The story of Jesus life is about doing what mum and dad needed Him to do, until His time was ready for ministry of healing and then He had to go to the Cross/stake/tree for us.  Mark 14:21.
