The Christmas season Approaches!

 Great Opportunities?

Christmas and Easter have the biggest times to share the Gospel message in the hope of leading the world to the truth and understanding what it's all about, rather than the commercialism and gluttony of the seasonal holiday?

We know the truth of this time, but how to get it over to the world can be tougher, since they are blinded by Satan and His lies to what we have to say to change their hearts to receive the true light of the star of Jacob, the morning stare, the, 'I Am the light of the world!

Numbers 24:17, John 12:46, 2 Peter 1:19.

We also know the story and this with a few verses may be enough to reach them, love being a key factor since this is what people long for in this society of rejection, indifference and ignoring the truth of real like for that of feelings and constant fantasy?

Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Isaiah 9:7, Luke 1:32-33, Amos 5:4, Matthew 7:7-8, John 3:3-18, Acts 4:12, Romans 3:22-23, 6:23, Hebrews 4:12-13, 9:26.

Not Alone?

God has not left us Alone!

Many people in the world wonder are we alone in the universe, is there not other life and do they visit now and then as governments might be hiding the truth on us?

But we who believe that we are not alone, since God gave to us His one and only Son to save us from our failings and when Jesus returned to Heaven He said that the Holy Spirit was coming and so all believers have the Spirit of God to comfort us in our times of trouble worry and much more!

it is not easy to be a believer we have to learn to endure the evil of the age that is around us and at times the anger and hatred that we may find the enemy will try to provoke us into in our hearts, but the Holy Spirit will help us if we pray believe, keep focused on the cross knowing that our Father cares for us!

Psalm 102:17,  Matthew/Levi 4:4,  Luke 10:40,  John 8:29.

The Christmas Story!

'More to it than meets the Eye?

After the wise men departed, an angel told Mary and Joseph to flee to Egypt with the Child, meanwhile King Herod felt that he was tricked by the Magi and ordered the genocide of all children from babes to two years old!

We don't here much about these historical facts today and people are quick anyway to even forget Holocaust in our current history?

Jesus birth coincides with the Roman census a governmental way of gathering essential data on the  population, something that has been continued to this day!

The who story of Christmas in these few New Testament Gospels covers a three year period and this would occur again, when the ministry of Jesus would happen up to that of the cross and His resurrection from the dead!

We hope that you will have a happy and peaceful Christmas season and not limit oneself to one tradition? For others this may be a time to seek God and find His forgiveness of Sins in and through Jesus?

Amos 5:4,   Matthew/Levi 2:12-15,   16-18,   19-23,    John 3:3-7,   15-16,    Acts 4:12,    Romans 3:21-31.

Seek and Find?

'Whose knocking at the Door!

The Christmas story is about a set of miracles and events that are a pivot of human history, when Jesus came into our world in human flesh from Eternity! Born of the Virgin, seen by the outcasts of society, rejected by a Royal family and gifted by foreign leaders, this is the story of the Messiah and Saviour of the world.

He was born in a humble place a symbol of His human nature that we would later see in his ministry and His going to the cross for all believers by faith!

But Christmas may have many aspects family, presents, the special meal, loneliness and rejection, homelessness and more? But it also brings to us the opportunity of Eternal Salvation through our repentance and faith in this child Jesus!

Jesus said, 'I stand at the door and knock, He who asks will receive!

Will you ask Him this season to come into your life? You have to ask to receive, will you open that cold hard door of your heart to His love, care and concern for your wrong direction?

Revelation 3:20,    Amos 5:4,    Matthew/Levi 7:7-8,    Luke 15:24,   32,    James 2:24,   26.

Real Friendship?

Relationship with Jesus!

We may think that we have many friends or perhaps we know them as associates, but are they really our close mates or buddies or are they out to get something from us?

The old Hymn opens with these words, 'What a friend we have in Jesus!

This is true, He really is the best and only friend that we can really have, if we seek, confess our failure and turn from it into being born-again as a new creation?

Now we will have that friendship, knowing that Jesus will intercede on our behalf to the Father! He will hear our prayers and guide us through the daily reading of His words in the Holy Bible!

Matthew 7:7-8,    John 14:27,    Revelation 3:19-20.

Knives! One.

Murders from Stabbing.

Life is cheap when gangs resort to stabbing out of their understanding of twisted ideas?

Respect, facing up or down, rivalry, showmanship are all aspects of the same thing?

There is no easy solution to gang warfare, because it is going on all over the world and no one as yet has been able to stop it!

London has seen fifty-five murders in the last four months, but considering the population is ten-million plus its not a big figure as is being made out?

What we learn from the bible is that it is mostly evil people who open themselves up and refuse to submit to God! If they do not do it with a weapon they do it under their tongue in inflammatory speech to raise the game!

We are warned that in the last times evil will prevail much more than it is now and knowing this we should understand that while it is still light we seek Jesus and Eternity!

Proverbs 30:14,  John 9:4,   Hebrews 3:13,  15.  Revelation 9:8.

EASTER. Two.

Cross and Tomb!

Jesus died on the cross/stake/tree between two criminals, murderers who deserved this death!

Many events took place around that Roman torture peg, darkness for three hours, Jesus promising the repentant sinner paradise!

When Jesus died he was laid in the tomb of a rich man Joseph of Arimathae, one of the many secret believers in that time!

Today this same message is as powerful as the events on that day, we see many movie depictions of these events! There have been thousands upon thousands of books written over the last nineteen-hundred years, taking a standpoint from every possible position?

But today is another opportunity for you to choose wither you will repent, confess, seek forgiveness and walk with Jesus?

Luke 22:20,  23:43,  Matthew 27:45,  John 8:12,  Isaiah 1:18-19,  53:12,  2 Corinthians 3:4-6,  5:18-19.

LOVE. Two.

Loving the Truth?

There is a difference between us and the lost, but it is a very little one of choice, when God reveals to us His chink of light? There are many people today who go to Church and have the name tag Christian by tradition and birth, but faith-trust in God does not come by the will of man nut God.

There are many at the same time who believe without the cross and self-denial that they know the Lord Jesus, they are always on the take? But when asked to do something, even a small thing the selfishness of their hearts are revealed and they run away.

When they saw the chink of light, they refused it to continue in their darkness, but we accepted because we love the truth of Gods word the bible and try to live by it everyday! Not living as the world, but living in the New Life!

2 Thessalonians 2:10, Proverbs 8:18, 2 Corinthians 2:17.

Reconciliation....

Our way back to God.

God accepts nothing without the shedding of blood, which makes it Holy.

In times past everything that was offered had to be covered by the blood of animals.

The problem was that it did not put and end to sin and had to be offered time and again.

Jesus, Gods own son was the perfect answer, all who confess Him have been covered in His blood of reconciliation back to the Father.

God always provided a way for people in need to seek Him, But now we have Jesus the perfect sacrifice to turn too.

Isaiah 45:19,  John 3:15-21,  1 Timothy 2:5-6,  Hebrews 9:13-15,  22-28.

NEW LIFE. One.

Resurrection Victory.

Believers mark the end of Easter with the resurrection of Jesus, the light of the world.

The world that we live in is a place of darkness, controled by Satan the attractive fallen Angel!

Darkness, delusion, trickery, desception, death can be deliverd from by faith in Jesus.

Admit you failure, seek God and change your attitudes.

Acts 2:23-25,  Psalm 116:3-4,  John 12:31,  Acts 26;18,  2 Corinthians 11:14,  Ephesians 6:12.

Copy Cats. Part-Two.

Theft.

Non of us likes to see things stolen from us, wither it be a burglary or our artists commission and yet many of us make the excuses to do it still.

The bible tells us that we must not steal from others, stealing does not just mean big things. it also means money from mummy's purse or dads wallet.

Theft is the same it is all sin, but God in His mercy says seek Me and I will forgive you through My Son Jesus.

Deuteronomy 5:19,  Amos 5:4,  Matthew 6:14,  Luke 18:20,  John 3:16,  1 John 2:12.

SIN. Part-One

'Ever with us.

This is the problem with failure it is always with us, wither we like it or not. We may have good intentions and even set out on doing a new thing, making a change in our lives. But not to far on we find that something comes up to change our way or direction and the next thing we almost back to sqaure one.

Paul talks about it much in his twenty-seven letters, which makes up most of the New Testament in the bible. He talks about his own battles with sin and failures, but he does offer us the hope that if we keep trust in Jesus we will make it out into Eternal glory.

Romans 7:15-20, 1 Corinthians 7:3-6, Galatians 2;14, Philippians 3:13,  Philemon 1:14.

Flee for your Life. Part-Two.

Sin, Failure.

This our inherited problem Sin, it makes us selfish, greedy, bad tempered.

Failure leads us to make bad decisions, lie, steal, hate, be jealous.

The answer to all of this is Jesus, we need to flee the failures and seek after Him.

Proverbs 6:4-5,  1 Timothy 5:22,  Revelation 18:4.

The Fool.

Say's in his heart, 'there is No God.'  Psalm 14:1.

There are plenty of people today in our societies, clever, intelligent and arrogant who would make the same claim openly.

Here we have a man, who is saying it in his heart and it is only God who knows our hearts and minds, our thoughts. Hebrews 4:12-13.

God tells us to wise up and not bother listening to the fool, the unwise and silly people. This is because they will lead us into their own folly.
Proverbs 1:7, Isaiah 9:17, Matthew 25:3.

What we need to do is seek God and His ways to get a better life. Amos 5:4, 14-15.

Braggers.

Boasting.

You meet a lot of them out there, they like to boast and brag about 'I have done, 'I own, 'Do this, take that!

They are full of themselves and if you have to listen to them long enough, they make you sick.

'So that is why they don't talk to me anymore, that's why he or she or then is avoiding me?

God does not like Boasters and Braggers, He wants us to seek Him and to only Boast about what He can do for us.

Jeremiah 9:23-24,  Romans 2:28-29,  2 Corinthians 10:17.
