'Whose knocking at the Door!
The Christmas story is about a set of miracles and events that are a pivot of human history, when Jesus came into our world in human flesh from Eternity! Born of the Virgin, seen by the outcasts of society, rejected by a Royal family and gifted by foreign leaders, this is the story of the Messiah and Saviour of the world.
He was born in a humble place a symbol of His human nature that we would later see in his ministry and His going to the cross for all believers by faith!
But Christmas may have many aspects family, presents, the special meal, loneliness and rejection, homelessness and more? But it also brings to us the opportunity of Eternal Salvation through our repentance and faith in this child Jesus!
Jesus said, 'I stand at the door and knock, He who asks will receive!
Will you ask Him this season to come into your life? You have to ask to receive, will you open that cold hard door of your heart to His love, care and concern for your wrong direction?
Revelation 3:20, Amos 5:4, Matthew/Levi 7:7-8, Luke 15:24, 32, James 2:24, 26.

Carnival Season!
Spread out more and More?
The Notting Hill Carnival is one of the largest in the world, outside that of Rio in Brazil! It draws millions of people to dance away the days on the streets, but over time because of increasing violence it has in some ways lost its flavour or atmosphere?
Today the Spirit of Notting Hill is now more pronounced in that it has spread to all the major cities and regions of the Afro-Black communities in London! What started a s a Easter religious festival in the Caribbean islands is now described by many Black Christians as a place of debauchery!
As believers we too celebrate the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus and these holidays too have been hijacked by commercialism and filth that try to degrade what we believe in! But a day is coming when we shall join that great wedding feast in Heaven and all those who refused in this life to repent or hear are message will not be at that table?
Matthew 22:2-12, Psalm 20:5, 118:24, Luke 15:6, 32, Revelation 19:7, 11, 17.

Notting Hill Carnival! One.
'Its carnival Time?
The largest street party event in the U.K. is approaching once more, with street music and food from more than just the Caribbean! But so comes bad people, gangs, muggers, thieves and molesters, one gets all of these things in all events even Glastonbury but we don't hear much about it?
What it originally was meant to be has today moved far away, but things like this develop as the mixing pot of London or most big cities occur!
If it ever had a Roman Catholic emphasis, it was never really seen in the forefront and many people from the W-Indian communities who refused to go perhaps revealed truths that others did not want to hear!
Exodus 12:14, 17, Judges 11:40, 1 Chronicles 16:4, Psalm 98:6, Isaiah 38:18, Luke 15:6, 9, 23-24, John 4:36, 1 Corinthians 11:20.

Easter. Part-One.
He died for Me?
Easter is about the death and resurrection of Jesus, that baby that we celebrate the birth of Christmas each year! But in history there were thirty-three years between these two most pivotal moments in human history.
Jesus came to set sinners free from the grip of Satan, who has a hold on humanity since Adam fell eating the forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden! But God always promised that he would send a Saviour to rescue man from his inherited condition!
For God so loved the world, that he gave for us Jesus His one and only son. John 3:16.

Urban Terrorists.
'Guy Fawkes.
(Please note, sorry have had a few Internet connection problems and have missed a couple of weeks).
A very British terrorist who is annually celebrated for his defeat on the 5th November. Today we are under constant threat in Russia and the west from home-grown or 'woodbie terrorism, as was seen in Canada last month.
When people run out of talking they resolve to terror and intimidation to get what they want, but for us this should not be our way.
Matthew 5:10-12, John 18:10-11.

'Carnival.' Part-One.
Party Time.
We all like to have some party time in our lives, wither it is a birthday, some anniversary or just a time to share our culture.
Music, bands, songs, drinks, food and dancing they make up the best party's?
The bible tells us about parties and celebration feasts, for victory in battles, proclamations of great events.
There are tow kinds of people who like party's and we need to be aware of both of them!
2 Samuel 6:14, Luke 15:12-14.

Wrapped. Part-Three.
Wisemen.
We all like to give and recieve presents at this time of the year, that is if belong to the Christian tradition in one form or another. We see that the Magi came from the east to give gifts to the Jesus, but they really came to worship Him.
They had waited a long time for this day, thousands of years for the star of promise to appear in the sky's. So they all got wrapped up and set off to see the Messiah and the savior of the world. Matthew 2:1-18, Numbers 24:17.
What will you be doing with yourself this 'Christmas, home with family, parents, someone close or are you all alone, out of choice or feel rejected?
Don't be mean try to see what's it all about for yourself!
John 6:29.
