Ascension and Pentecostal pouring Out!

Jesus departed with the promised return and the Holy Spirit continues to be given to Believers!

God does not change but we do or one hopes we do as believers grow?

Bad people become good, some get saved and good believers can lose it because of mental health and do bad things, stress, pain, suffering, anger can all lead to that type of fall others to sex, money, narcotics or the ego of power and their destruction with victims!

Many Christian's refuse to believe that those saved can be lost, but the Holy Bible tells us so and that hose who live in sin will not inherit eternity! We may think we can play games with God, sin one day and seek His forgiveness the next  thinking we are okay, but we are only fooling ourselves in our silly ideas?

To be a believer is a tough road and the older you get the harder it is, some people hide their pain with smiles and praise, they refuse to admit their situation's, even to Jesus !

Hebrews 10:26, Leviticus 4:2, Deuteronomy 17:12, Psalm 19:12-13, John 9:41, 1 Timothy 1:13, James 4:17.

Seek and Find?

'Whose knocking at the Door!

The Christmas story is about a set of miracles and events that are a pivot of human history, when Jesus came into our world in human flesh from Eternity! Born of the Virgin, seen by the outcasts of society, rejected by a Royal family and gifted by foreign leaders, this is the story of the Messiah and Saviour of the world.

He was born in a humble place a symbol of His human nature that we would later see in his ministry and His going to the cross for all believers by faith!

But Christmas may have many aspects family, presents, the special meal, loneliness and rejection, homelessness and more? But it also brings to us the opportunity of Eternal Salvation through our repentance and faith in this child Jesus!

Jesus said, 'I stand at the door and knock, He who asks will receive!

Will you ask Him this season to come into your life? You have to ask to receive, will you open that cold hard door of your heart to His love, care and concern for your wrong direction?

Revelation 3:20,    Amos 5:4,    Matthew/Levi 7:7-8,    Luke 15:24,   32,    James 2:24,   26.

RETURN?

The Lord!

We are told that even Jesus does not know when He will come back, but He is coming back at the time that the father chooses!

In the rush of the world and Christian activity, many forget this one important promise? We look to Christmas and Easter with some emphasis and we press on with all that daily life throws at us, we may recall the day or moment we were saved, converted?

We may hope for relief or pray for many things, think on the death and resurrection of Jesus? But we forget His Ascension and promised return, some are confused by the book of Revelation but here we are only dealing with that promised return and the result of the Judgement that is to follow !

So our conduct is to be examined now unless we are found naked and ashamed on that great and terrible day?

Psalm 98:9,  Ezekiel 16:37,  Mark 13:33-37,   Acts 17:31,  Romans 2:5-6,   1 Thessalonians 5:2-3,  Revelation 1:7,  16:15.

Ascension and Pentecost!

Leaving, Holy Spirit and promised Return.

The Disciples were privileged to see Jesus their risen Lord return to Heaven, ten days later they received the Holy Spirit in the Temple of Jerusalem, Roman occupied Israel!

This time the Holy Spirit was given to all believers and there were many more from all over the known world that day of Shavout, Jews from the very east, south and west.

Today believers live in that same empowerment to reach out to the dying, decaying world around us! But we are also waiting the return of Jesus, who every eye will see when the sky is torn apart!

We have no time or date for His promised return, but we have been told not to be found naked and be alert for He will come like a thief in the Night!

Acts 1:6-11,  2:3,  19:6,  Exodus 23:16,  Matthew 25:36-44.   2 Peter 3:10,  Revelation 3:3, 16:5.

Leaving and Returning!

Some (believers) Forget?

Even people of faith can allow themselves to get caught up in tradition of holidays like Christmas and Easter and forget that their faith in God has much more to offer?

Jesus Ascended back to Heaven and Angels said, 'He would return again in the same way!'

Jesus is coming back to collect the Ekklesia, Bride of Christ or family of God at the end of the Age!

We must be ready for that great and terrible day, when the sky as we understand it will be opened to reveal the mighty armies of Heaven descend to Earth?

Acts 1:2-11, John 14:3, 2 Thessalonians 1:10, Revelation 1:7.

CHRISTMAS. Part-Four

VIRGIN BIRTH.

Still today many people cannot believe in this miracle of God, they make all sorts of excuses for it based on what is in their own hearts.

But it did happen as the bible tells us so, we do need to have faith to believe it?

When we have faith in the death, resurrection of Jesus for our failures then nothing is limited to us.

The world promises so much, but it hardly ever delivers even a little!

Luke 1:26-38,  Matthew 1:20-21,  2:13-22.   John 12:46-48.

Pentecost. Part-Two.

The beginning of the End.

It was that former fisherman Peter, now and Apostle that reveals to us that the fulfilment of the Prophecy concerning the pouring out of the Holy Spirit, was also warning of the approaching end.

For us who believe in Jesus by faith, after repenting of our sins, will have no fear of knowing that Jesus is coming back for us and to take us up to heaven.

But for the dead world full of its empty sparkle and things will see a different events of changes in the skies that will strike fear and terror!

Acts 2:17-21,  19-20,  Joel 2:28-32,  Matthew 24:29,  Romans 4:5-8, Revelation 6:12-17.

Jesus Return. Part-Two.

Clouds of Glory.

Many of us have heard this through media, films and books, without ever knowing the bible or having any contact with Christians?

But this is an abiding truth that Jesus will return first to gather His followers in the sky and then with His army of Angels to defend Israel His chosen people.

Every eye will see Jesus in the end and there are many events in relation to His return written in the book of Revelation.

Daniel 7:13-14. Matthew 13:26, 23:39, 26:64, Luke 13:36, 22:68.

Resurrection.

Jesus said...

'He would rise from the grave on the third day' and he did, thus death or the sting of death has been overcome for us who believe in Him.

Matthew 17:23,  Mark 10:34,  Luke 18:33,  Acts 10:40,  1 Corinthians 15:4.

Over five-hundred people saw the risen Lord during His forty days on Earth, before He made His Acension to Heaven.

Acts 1:3.

Many people think that is the end of the story, but it is only the beginning of a bigger story by far.

Matthew 24:18, Luke 17:31, James 5:7-8.

Emancipation. Part-One.

1st January 1863.

The end of black slavery in the United States of America ended on this day, but the racial prejudice continues to this day, as has been seen in Ferguson and many other places too. Humanity comes up with many ideas, plans and statements, yesterday over 2 million people marched through Paris, France to uphold their ability to jeer another religion.

God sees everything, wither we are saved or lost, He is always watching the world and he knows what is in our hearts and minds. People are in the habit of forgetting this, many believe that saying sorry for their actions today means that tomorrow they can go back and do the same and it will keep them right with God. They have got that idea very wrong and they will neither inherit anything or eternal life.

Psalm 2:4-5,  Proverbs 1:24-27,  2 Peter 3:3.

Judgement.

Day of the Lord, Return, Judgement Day.

Do you know that Jesus is coming back!

There are a lot of people out there, including 'Christians who do not believe in the Day of the Lord.

The mockers say' When is this Day coming, it has been a long time.

Booh  'He comes like a thief in the night.

Acts 1:11,  2 Peter 3:10,  Revelation 3:3.

'Think Your Big?

Unwise People.

There are lots of people who think they are big, important, scary.

They have the cars, the money the woman and men.

But God lets them know in His many ways if they come up to Him they ain't going any futher.

Our God does not allow the evil people to continue day after day, they have their times and that is it.

Proverbs 21:30,  Isaiah 22:7,  37:34.

Ascension.

Going Home.

For some Christians Easter is the end of the bible story, Jesus rose from the dead and the victory was achieved.

But the resurrection, was only the beginning for believers in Jesus by faith.

Jesus spent forty days on the earth and was seen by over 500 people, then He ascended back to Heaven with the promise that he would return for His own.

Many nations today who claim that they do not believe in God fear this statement.

DO YOU?

Acts 1:1-11.
